General rules and navigation
AXON Manager provides a convenient WEB interface for easy and quick management of your IPTV installation.
Main navigation
Main screen is composed of main menu navigation on top, where first 5 are links to submenus while others are just action buttons or shortcuts.
Submenu navigation
Submenu navigation is accessible on first 5 menus and is positioned on the left side of screen. Submenu changes according the menu you opened.
Important button: Refresh devices button
Let me introduce you this important button in top menu navigation line. Whenever you do changes of content in IPTV system and you want to check them right away, then you need to press that button. This one saves changes on server and prepares it for stbs, so whenever stb asks server “is anything new for me?” the server will respond back “well there is.. here you go”. If you don’t press that button the package will be automatically created in 2h.
Don’t mistake this refresh devices button with refresh button on every right corner of the table. That one is just to refresh that particular table.
Basic operations
Add or edit items
Most screens with settings will have + Add button, which will add row. Each row is an item (movie, shop product, TV channel etc.) New item is saved when all mandatory (red) fields are filler and when you click outside that row. To edit the existing item just double-click in the filed you want to edit and the mouse curse will show inside. If filed is a drop down list then you need to select something from drop down list.
Sort items
You can sort items in columns which display an arrow, using alphabet or numeric order. Click on the title of column to change direction of sorting.
Below is example of sorting by IP.
Search / Filter items
You can filter items in way that you start typing some keyword and system filter it for you and show only results. Keep in mind that you need to disable filter later if you don’t need it any more or refresh manager webpage.
Example below shows filtering by MAC address by clicking on search icon and using specific MAC i want to find.
Remove items
Next to + Add button is always also - Remove button. To remove item, you need to first click on it, then remove button will be clickable.
If you thick the Multiple selection button them you can select more items and do bulk actions. (etc. delete more items together)
