Project login to IPTV Manager and PC preview
In this guide, we'll walk you through how to access our IPTV Manager and verify the content being displayed on your devices.
Table of contents:
Accessing the project login page
The IPTV Manager, also referred to as the IPTV Administration page, is a web-based interface used to manage all devices, users and content for the IPTV system. It is accessible locally within the network configured by your IT team.
Each project is assigned a dedicated Nevron manager. You received your project IP (or URL link) and login information from Nevron.
Setting Up the IPTV Manager access
Step 1: Ping the server IP
First, verify that you can reach the IPTV server where the IPTV admin is hosted. Open the Command Prompt (CMD) on your laptop and ping the server's IP address. If you don’t ping it, check with your network team if you have the right IP and if it is accessible in the network.
Step 1: Open your web browser
Launch your preferred web browser on your laptop. This can be any modern browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, etc. and enter the server’s IP in the web browser's address bar.
Step 2: Log in to the project
Upon redirection to the project login page, proceed to log in by entering your username and password in the respective fields. Write to support@nevron.eu for credentials or ask local IT.
Step 3: Manager dashboard
Once you log in, you'll arrive at the Manager Dashboard. This is your hub for viewing and managing tasks, adjusting settings, and accessing important account information.
Preview of the IPTV GUI on the devices
Since the content displayed on the devices is hosted on a webpage, you can also view it in a web browser on your PC. The only difference is in navigation—on your PC, you'll need to use the arrow keys, as well as the back and enter buttons on your keyboard, to move through the interface.
Setting Up the Preview on Your PC (For IT Team)
Step 1: Ping the server IP
Ensure your computer is connected to the same network as the IPTV server.
Open the Command Prompt (CMD) on your computer.
Type the following command and press Enter:
ping [server's IP address]
Replace
[server's IP address]
with the actual IP address of the IPTV server. If you receive replies, you can reach the IPTV server. If not, check your network connection and ensure that you are on the same network.
Step 2: Configure the hosts file
If the ping is successful, open the hosts file on your PC as an administrator. Add a line that resolves our domain to your server’s IP address. For example:
10.10.5.5 iptv.nevronitv.si
Alternatively, for a more general name (from 2022 onwards), use:
10.10.5.5 iptv.base.ntv
Save the file. Do not use "Save As"; simply save it to the same location. If you're unable to save the file, you likely lack admin rights, so you’ll need to contact your network administrator.
Step 3: Test in the browser
Open the preview in your web browser using one of the following URLs:
http://iptv.nevronitv.si/smarttv/index.html
http://iptv.base.ntv/smarttv/index.html
Note: For older projects that use our previous HTML version (older project or the old Smart TVs supported only this version), the link is:
http://iptv.nevronitv.si/html-iptv-client/index.php
This will allow you to test the content you've configured in the IPTV admin or use it for presentations to other teams. Please note that the screen proportions may differ from those on the actual devices; this can be observed by resizing the browser window, which may alter the content's appearance.
Note: Navigate with the arrow keys, enter and back, or simply reload the webpage. Your webpage is treated as a new device, so check in the IPTV admin (has MAC 00:00:00:00:00:00) and add it to the certain room you want.
Note: If you encounter a loading screen, check for available space in your license. Compare the device menu license with the maximum license count shown in the top left corner. If you've reached the limit, you can either remove a device to free up space or contact us to request a license upgrade.
