Welcome display customization

When checked-in all guests will be greeted with custom welcome screen when they first turn on the TV. (Immediately when they walk into the room if the TV is turned on already.) To edit the welcome message screen follow these steps:

Step 1: Locate the welcome screen tab
Navigate to System>Menus Settings>Menu:Welcome.

Step 2: Select the message type
In the Menu appearance you can select from 2 types of welcome screen:

Half screen:

Full screen:

Step 3: Select a background image
Upload a background image. A 1280 x 720 px file no bigger than 700kb is preferred. You can assign the background image in the same menu in the Menu appearance tab.

Change the welcome text and logo

If you are using the full screen welcome, change the logo in the Welcome section of the Menu:Welcome.

Step 1: Locate the localization tab
To change the welcome text navigate to System>Content settings>Localization.

Step 2: Filter the “Localization key” column
Click the dropdown icon in the Localization key tab and paste
“template_default_body” For half screen
”welcomeText” For full screen

Step 4: Edit the welcome text

Click the “Edit” button on the right side of the item. A popup will open allowing you to change the welcome text. You can choose to add variables like guest names (requires a PMS connection), room number and more.

Step 5: Save your progress
Click the “Refresh devices” button in the top menu and wait for the loading animation to stop. The content will be updated in your devices in 5 to 10 minutes. To manually refresh the STB, press home on the remote control button five times.
