Multi-project setup

Users with on-site private installations can access the upper level of NevronWare manager. This level serves as a list of all projects, admins, operators and devices. Users with access to this upper level are called superadmins. You can add a new superadmin in the users tab.

Projects

The project list allows superadmins to manage existing projects, delete them and create new projects. You can also change the default project. The default project determines which project devices will connect to on initial setup.

Creating a new project

Step 1: Click “Create a new project”

Give your project an identifiable name and select the correct property type.

Step 2: Select available content

Modules on a single project can be enabled and disabled. Some modules can also have limits as described in the fields.

Modules disabled on this level will not be visible inside the project by the project admins. Here you can also set up a Two-factor authentication login.

Operators

Operators essentially work as project categories. When a new operator is added, new projects can be created inside the operator’s tab.

To assign a new user to the operator, create a new user and in the setup process assign them the “Operator superadmin” user role and assign them the correct operator. This will allow them access to only the projects inside of that operator group.

Devices

The device tab contains a list of all devices across all the projects. Devices will appear in this list once their homepage is set. In this list you can change the project of a single device, multiple devices and manage other device-related settings.

How to set up a new Nevron STB

Step 1: Find your homepage

The homepage can be found in any active project in the project configuration tab.

Only copy the URL to the last slash. The last part is a project identification and not needed for our setup.

Step 2: Open your Rover terminal

Step 3: Use the following command to set the homepage

Replace the mac with your STB mac number. You can also use rstb all, but BE CAREFUL this action is not reversible.
