Install Rocky 8.x OS
Below are step-by-step instructions for installing Rocky OS 8.x:
Note: The server has 2 Ethernet ports. For the IPTV network, the demo system is preconfigured to use the IP 192.168.200.254/24, so we advise you to set that IP if possible in your environment.
The other network is used for management and internet access, with the option of either being a DHCP client or having a static IP (your preference).
Download Rocky 8
Here is the link from where you can download the .iso file:

Download DVD version of Rocky 8, be careful not to download Rocky 9.
Create a bootable USB
Get an empty USB stick with a minimum capacity of 16 GB.
Download Rufus: https://rufus.ie/en/
In Rufus, select your USB device and the Rocky 8 .iso file that you downloaded earlier, leave settings as they are and then click 'Start'.
Install Rocky 8
After finishing preparing the USB, insert it into the demo server and reboot it. It should boot into the installer. If it doesn’t, press the key to open the Boot Menu and select to boot from the USB.
This is what the Rocky installer looks like, as shown in the image above.
Set the following settings:
Root password:
Password: centos
User creation:
Username: Nevron
Password: centos
Make the user an administrator.
Installation destination:
Select the demo hard drive (not USB). Click 'Reclaim Space' and delete everything.
After configuring these settings, click 'Begin Installation' and wait until it is finished. Finally, complete the process by rebooting the system once the installation is completed.
